The day started at 4:30 am for me today.  The boys had a sleepover and unfortunately they forgot about the sleep part, so a few doors were slammed in the wee hours of the morning.....  After some parental adjusting :) the situation was under control, but I could not get back to sleep.
I did a few household chores, (amazing what you can get done when everyone else is asleep) and around 7am I woke up David and suggested we go the the Farmer's Market downtown.  He agreed, which is pretty amazing because Saturday is our sleep-in day--which is why we don't ever make it to the Farmer's Market.  There was a great selection of vegetables this morning, but not many fruit selections.  All that was there was peaches.  I had hoped for blueberries and strawberries..maybe even some blackberries.  However, the veggies were great.  I even got purple hulled peas, already shelled.  I have some really fond memories of shelling purple hulled peas with my grandparents on their front porch. All in all it was a beautiful morning, even with a rocky start.  And you know what?  I don't think there is anything more beautiful than fresh vegetables in the early morning light.
